On the 22nd of December, M. Nesbitt, a friendly and generous store owner, sponsor of the baseball team of his block, is behind his shelf, when two large black males rush into the store with the intention to rob him. As M. Nesbitt tries to defend his property when one of the villains shoots him in the chest. As his lungs slowly fill with blood, the two cold-hearted monsters grab the cash and some cigarettes and run. M. Nesbitt was buried two weeks later, his whole family was there and they all cried for justice. Today, on the 12th of July almost 8 months after the crime the trial ended. The felons were just arrested the month before, as there were witnesses. During the trial, the honest prosecutor Sandra Petrocelli made sure that three of the four participants of the horrible crime went to receive their punishment. On of them, Steve Harmon, a young black male was acquitted. This is strange because two of the participants testified against him, only the key witness said that she didn’t see him at the scene of the crime, but she was only there for a short period of time. So was is justice, that a man who is also responsible for a pre-meditated murder is really to be set free again, only because he was not seen? The future will tell.
